In less than month, Samsung will be unveiling its next Galaxy smart phone at Mobile World Congress 2015. While MWC 2015 starts on 2nd March, Samsung will be making its announcement earlier at their first Samsung Unpacked 2015 event that’s happening on 1st March. The new flagship device is likely to retain its Galaxy S6 naming and it is said to be joined by a curved display variant like the Galaxy Note Edge.
From the image above, Samsung teases a new form of design which will be different from its flagship Galaxy smart phones of the past. In terms of hardware, the Galaxy S6 will likely retain a more compact 5-incher display size and it will be powered with their own Exynos 7420 Octa-Core processor. To keep up with the newer flagships, it may come with 4GB of RAM and a larger 20.7MP shooter.
The event is starting at 6:30PM local Barcelona time, which is at 1.30AM Malaysian time on the next day (2nd March). Like previous Samsung Unpacked events, you can expect to catch the event live via YouTube. Meanwhile, its rival HTC will be announcing a new smart phone a few hours earlier. March is definitely an exciting month for tech enthusiast, so expect more updates on the first week of March.
