LG has just sent invites for its upcoming global launch which is likely to be its new LG G3 flagship. It is happening at multiple venues on the 27th May in London, New York and San Francisco, followed by separate press events in Seoul, Singapore and Istanbul the next day.
The new LG G3 is expected heat up the competition with a 5.5″ Quad HD display that pushes an incredible 538 ppi (pixels per inch). Its internals are speculated to be having the top of the range 2.5GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 801 processor and possibly mated to either 2GB or 3GB RAM. Design wise, we expect LG to maintain its clean button-less front design which offers one of the best display to phone size ratio. An early leak image has also revealed a set of back-mounted keys that has been redesigned with a rounder look.
While today’s flagship Android devices lacked Optical Image Stabiliser on their cameras, the LG G3 is likely to feature its OIS+ enhanced camera that’s found on their current LG G Pro 2 phablet.
In terms of availability, chances of seeing official units in Malaysia is quite slim. LG Malaysia has been very quiet from the smart phone scene and we have been left out from the Nexus 5, LG G2, LG G Flex and their latest LG G Pro 2 official availability. However that’s not stopping online retailers from bringing grey imported units into Malaysia.
