While we are just 4 days away from Samsung’s Unpacked event, photos of what seems to be the upcoming Galaxy S IV has surfaced on a Chinese forum.
In terms of design, it looks like another nature inspired design which is similar to the current crop of Samsung Galaxy S III and Note II. Materials look rather the same and comes with a new pattern for both front and back.
Although this could be just another dual-SIM Galaxy variant for China, the specs shown indicate that this might be the flagship device that everyone is anticipating. Carrying the model GT-I9502, it claims to have a Full HD display of 1920×1080 with 2GB of RAM and runs on a Quad-Core ARMv7 processor. The camera is rated at 12.8MP, which matches the earlier speculation that the upcoming Galaxy S IV will be having a 13MP shooter this time around.
Hopefully this is just another dummy prototype for the purpose of secrecy but it is not surprising that Samsung might just continue the same design over onto its next generation. If this is the case, Samsung might just be the new Apple while HTC in the other hand is the new Samsung. We are also hoping that Samsung would be venturing into more upmarket materials in its upcoming sequel.
All shall be revealed this coming Friday and hopefully they will be able to throw some surprises. Head after the break for more photos of the purported Galaxy S IV.
