iQoo 15 Malaysia: Specs and features

The overall iQoo 15 might not look too different from the iQoo 13; however, it does introduce a new colourway — Zen (grey/red), on top of Legend (white), which was also available with the iQoo 13.
However, what you’re most likely looking at the iQoo 15 for is what’s under its hood — Qualcomm’s latest flagship smartphone chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. This is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM with up to 10.7Gbps of file copy speed and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. There’s also a 14,000mm² vapour chamber to keep the smartphone cool when under pressure.

Flip the iQoo 15 around, and you’ll be looking at a 6.85″ 144Hz LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 3168×1440 pixels. For biometric security, you also get an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display.
In terms of imaging, you get a 50MP f/1.9 main camera with OIS, a new 50MP f/2.6 telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom, up from 2x in the iQoo 13, and a 50MP f/2.1 ultra-wide-angle sensor. There’s also a 32MP selfie snapper up front. Video-wise, the iQoo 15 can film at up to 8K@30fps with its rear cameras and 4K@30fps with the front camera.
For added visual effects, the iQoo 15 now comes with an illuminated LED strip around its rear camera island too.

Keeping the lights on for the iQoo 15 is a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, nearly 14% larger in capacity than the one found in its predecessor. However, its wired charging speed has been downgraded to 100W from 120W, but in exchange, you get 40W wireless charging capability, as well as support for bypass charging, which powers the phone directly instead of the battery to reduce heat and protect battery health.
As for software, the iQoo 15 runs on Vivo’s latest OriginOS 6 skin, built atop Android 16. For connectivity, you get 5G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and a USB-C 3.2 port.
